Keith Shanahan has been involved in the motor trade, working in a motorcycle workshop, main dealerships and in his own business, for over 25 years.  Starting out as an apprentice he has progressed to qualified mechanic and then held the positions of the head technician and service manager before deciding to start his own business in 2008. He was delighted when the opportunity arose to take over his previous premises in Ballyedmond in 2011 and now as of September 2024 the location has changed once more to accommodate the expansion of the business. The main workshop and office is now located beside Buffers Alley GAA grounds in what is known locally as the “old co-op yard” at Y25 Y9A2.  Keith has completed many courses of training over the years including common rail diesel, air conditioning, ADAS, dual clutch transmissions, DPF diagnostics, dealer level diagnostic tools, service advisor, became a certified master technician and much more….

Jim, a mechanic with a vast experience amassed in over 30 years of motor trade experience, from motorbikes, heavy plant and machinery to cars, 4x4s and light commercials. Jim has covered several training courses over the years from motorcycles to modern passenger vehicle diesel engines and battery technology.

John, our apprentice who started with us in 2023 is currently entering his 3rd year of his apprenticeship. He works alongside Keith and Jim in the workshop and has amassed a huge amount of skills and knowledge in his time here. John also completed his Level 3 Electric and Hybrid vehicle training and certification. This is an extra course and not part of his apprenticeship as we don’t believe in training the bare minimum to get by, we want the best for and from all our staff at every level.

Pauline, our front of house deals with bookings, parts, estimates, workshop loading using her own vast experience in the motor trade to help us and our customers. Pauline has been trained on our garage management and booking system to be best assist your needs and is the first point of contact for most customers who call or visit our premises.

Maurene, who runs the admin side of the business, dealing with other customers queries, invoicing, bookings, pricing and much more. Maurene has been trained on running our garage management software systems, trade specific training in service advising and also completed financial understanding for the garage business and customer excellence course with the brilliant Garage Inspector, Andy Savva.

Our dedicated team of professionals have vast experience, knowledge and engage in ongoing training to keep up to date with modern vehicle systems, service and diagnostic techniques. We are constantly investing in training, new equipment and technical information to keep our garage at the forefront of modern garages. This includes training on electric and hybrid vehicles which are starting to really hit the market now.
